Young Researcher Awards

We are pleased to announce that a number of Young Researcher Awards will be funded by the ESLAB 51 Symposium, COSPAR & ILEWG. These awards be presented at the Symposium will recognise outstanding young researchers, and will include grants of EUR 200. Winners will be announced after abstract acceptance by the end of September 2017, and will be selected based on the following assessment and eligibility criteria:

1)   Applicants must be aged between 18 – 35 years, and be actively engaged in academic research.

2)   The content of the applicant’s associated first author submission should demonstrate excellence in their area of research.

3)   Awardees will be selected also on the basis of their diversity in experience, nationality, future potential and relevance to ESLAB 51 and sponsors.

Potential candidates are invited to apply by addressing a request for consideration to the chairs of the Science and Local Organising Committees: B. H. Foing and E. Sefton-Nash. In addition, the request should include a copy of a 1-page CV of the applicant. Please send applications by email to:
